The petitioner has filed this petition, styled as public interest litigation, seeking a direction to the official respondents to remove the alleged unauthorised construction put up by respondent Nos.6 to 8 in Cavery River Survey No.346 in Molasi Village, Thiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District. 3. After we issued notice to the respondents, the official respondents have placed on record that certain irrigation societies were granted permission to draw water by installing motor pumps. 4. Learned State counsel would submit that the constructions made are for the purpose of covering the electric motors and keep ______________ p. 4 W.P.No.43305 of 2025 them safe and no other construction has been raised. 5. In view of the statement so made by learned State counsel, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction that except the present construction for keeping the electric motors safe, no further construction shall be allowed to the raised. There shall be no order as to costs.
