The relevant facts which are required to be noticed for disposal of this petition are that on 20.07.2018, the respondent-Gram Panchayat filed the Punjab Village Common Lands (for short, “the 1961 Act”) which was allowed by . Resultantly, the respondent- the land in question. However, in possession of the land in question and defendants in the aforesaid suit, filed a statutory appeal to challenge therein the order dated 26.07.2024 which appeal is pending Commissioner, Ambala Division, Ambala. In the Gram Panchayat has issued notices to the petitioners under Section 24(1) and 24(2) of the Haryana Gram Panchayat eviction from the land in question.
