Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner, who by means of this application has sought for a slight modification in the order dated 13.12.2025 passed in the connected MAC Appl/375/2025. The appeal was taken up for consideration on that day in the National Lok Adalat. While disposing of the appeal, it was directed that the Insurance Company would deposit the additional amount of Rs.2,50,000/-(Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand) only in Page No.# 2/2 the bank account of the petitioner maintained in the North East Small Finance Bank, Bongaigaon Branch. For ready reference, the observations are extracted herein below: “In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall deposit the aforesaid additional amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- being the full and final payment directly to the bank account, being A/C No.000925221000354 and IFC Code No. NESF 0000009 maintained by the appellant with the North East Small Finance Bank, Bongaigaon Branch within a period of 45 days from today.” Shri Khan, the learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the aforesaid account is lying inoperative and in spite of efforts, the same could not be revived. He has also submitted that this information was not readily available when the order was passed. He has accordingly submitted that the deposit be directed to be made in a new Bank account of the petitioner which he has opened, the details of which are as below: A/c No. 5975928998 Central Bank of India Bijni Branch, IFSC Code No. CBIN0282565 In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the instant IA stands allowed and the deposit directed to be made vide the order dated 13.12.2025 be made in the new account as mentioned above.
