Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 400 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 506 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaint case was filed alleging therein that the marriage of the petitioner was fixed along with the daughter of the informant which was not solemnised. It is next submitted that when the petitioner went to the house of the informant for engagement but girl has refused to marry with the petitioner. He further submits that the amount as alleged has been transferred in the account of the brother of the petitioner and not in the account of the petitioner. He further submits that the said money was transferred for the business purpose. Neutral Citation No.(2026:JHHC:12413) 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations are there for not marrying and not returning the amount. 5. It has been pointed out that the amount in question has been transferred in the account of the brother of the petitioner which was meant for the business. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms, conditions or sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper. 6.
