The present contempt petition has been instituted alleging violation of the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 22.05.2019 in WP(C) No. 3261/2019. 3. This Court vide order dated 22.05.2019 in WP(C) No. 3261/2019, had directed the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners in line with the Page No.# 3/3 directions passed by this Court, vide judgment and order dated 22.02.2019 in WP(C) No. 2725/2010. 4. Mr. Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioners, has fairly submitted that the decision of this Court in WP(C) No. 2725/2010, which was directed to be followed by this Court vide order dated 22.05.2019 in WP(C) No. 3261/2019, on an appeal being presented against it by the State in WA No. 50/2022, a Division Bench of this Court vide judgment and order dated 12.06.2024 had interfered with the said judgment. 5. In view of the judgment and order dated 22.02.2019 passed in WP(C) No. 2725/2010, having already been interfered with, there would arise no occasion for the respondents to implement the already set aside directions in respect of the petitioners, in terms of the directions passed by this Court, vide order dated 22.05.2019 in WP(C) No. 3261/2019. Accordingly, no violation of the order dated 22.05.2019 is made out. Consequently, the present contempt petition stands closed. 6. The notices issued stand recalled. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
