Alleging that several conveyances have been unlawfully registered in relation to said property, the present writ petition has been instituted for cancellation thereof. 2. Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 8. He submits that the registering officer does not have the power of cancellation. 3. The registering officer does not have the power of cancellation. Therefore, if the petitioner intends to declare the impugned sale deeds as null and void, the petitioner should approach the jurisdictional Civil Court.
