JUSTICE A.GUNESHWAR SHARMA 14.8.2026 Mr.Prabirkumar, learned counsel for petitioner along with Mr.W.Sanatomba, submits that cause of WP(C) Nos.332 of 2022 and 460 of 2022 do not survive after issuance of order dated 2.7.2026 and Notice for holding election issued by Registrar, Co- operative Societies, Manipur withdrawing order dated 26.5.2022 and 1.6.2022 and directed to conduct election of Wushu Association, Manipur with eligible members and as such, petitioner filed two Misc Applications, being MC (WP(C)) Nos.622 of 2026 and 623 of 2026 for withdrawing the main two writ petitions. Mr.Y.Robert, learned Dy. Government Advocate for State submits that this Court may pass appropriate order. Mr.L.Sanjoy, learned counsel for private respondent No.4, submits that the applicant Mr.Hanjabam Jayadev Sharma, an interested party filed MC (WP(C)) No.626 of 2026 for stay of proposed election to be held on 16.8.2026 pursuant to order dated 2.7.2026 issued by Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Manipur. This Court is of the view that respondent cannot challenge subsequent order in Misc Case in the pending matter. If applicant/respondent No.4 is aggrieved by order dated 2.7.2026 and Notice of election dated 22.7.2026 to be conducted on 16.8.2026, he ought to have filed proper application before the competent court redressing his grievance. In the circumstance, MC (WP(C)) No.626 of 2026 is dismissed as not maintainable in the present form and the same is closed with liberty to approach appropriate forum. With this observation, Writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn and connected Misc Applications are also disposed. Interim order, if any, merges with the final order.
