By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 02.07.2026, which has wrongly been transcribed as 02.07.2027, annexure no.6 to the writ petition, whereby attachment of the petitioner at G.G.I.C. Bhimtal has been cancelled pursuant to the order dated 19.06.2026 passed by respondent no.2-Director General, School Education, Uttarakhand.

Facts of the case, as culled out from the writ petition in short, are that the petitioner was initially posted at G.G.I.C. Dwarahat, Almora, on the post of Lecturer (Chemistry). Vide order dated 17.03.2026, passed by respondent no.2-Director General, School Education, Uttarakhand, the petitioner was attached in G.G.I.C. Bhimtal on her request. Subsequently respondent no.2- Director General, School Education has cancelled all the attachments and pursuant to cancellation of her attachment order, she was sent back to her original place of posting at G.G.I.C. Dwarahat, Almora vide order impugned in the writ petition.

Petitioner has challenged her relieving without challenging the cancellation order as well as the G.O. whereby the attachment was cancelled. 1

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has got some family problems, therefore, she cannot be sent back to her original place of posting i.e., G.G.I.C. Dwarahat, Almora.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that she wants to be posted at a remote (durgam) place and since she has been posted in Dwarahat for the last seven years, therefore, she wants to be transferred at a remote (durgam) place by the respondent-Authorities.

Without interfering in the order of relieving, the writ petition stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to move a representation for transferring her from Dwarahat to any other remote place, to the respondent no.3-Director, Secondary Education, within a period of ten days from today. If such a representation is moved by the petitioner, respondent no.3-Director, Secondary Education shall decide the same within a period of one month, in accordance with law.
