The present writ petition has been filed praying for quashing of the Recovery Citation dated 21.04.2026, whereby certain sum is sought to be recovered from the petitioner by way of arrears toward the royalty payable under a mining lease. The said recovery is being made on basis of order dated 18.11.2024 passed by the Director (Mining), Haridwar. 2. The order of the Director (Mining), Haridwar dated 18.11.2024 is subject matter of challenge, at the behest of the petitioner, in WPMB No. 318 of 2026 titled ‘Gurubaksh Singh vs. State of Uttarakhand and others’, and it is stated to be pending. 3. The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to apply for stay in the pending writ petition. 5.
