No. 2671 of 1993, filed by the revision petitioner/plaintiff for the relief of recovery of possession, has been pending since the year 1993 without any substantial progress. 2. Considering the inordinate delay of more than three decades and the need for expeditious adjudication, this Court is inclined to issue appropriate directions. Accordingly, (i) the trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S. No. 2671 of 1993 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (ii) The trial Court shall conduct the trial on a day-to-day basis and shall not grant unnecessary adjournments to either party 3. With the above direction this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
