According to petitioner, she purchased a plot of land from one Sri Bachi Ram Painuli by a registered sale deed dated 28.06.2010, however, in the revenue records, it is mentioned against the number of plot purchased by petitioner that there is some order passed by Prescribed Authority in proceedings under Imposition of Ceiling on Land Holdings Act. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a time frame fixed by this Hon’ble Court after affording due opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties; Annexure No. 4 Page No. 28 to 31.” 5. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for petitioner confines his prayer and submits that District Magistrate, Dehradun be directed to take decision on UKHC010109902026 2026:UHC:5487 the representation dated 27.03.2026, made by the petitioner. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate to consider the issue raised by petitioner in the representation and pass appropriate order, as per law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
