This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 seeking pre-arrest Page No.# 2/2 bail in respect of Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 18/2026. 3. A lawyer was assaulted by some persons named in the FIR. The present petitioner has not been named in the FIR. On 19.02.2026 the Court granted interim bail to the petitioner Md. Omar Ali @ Amir Ali. Pursuant to the said interim order, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has cooperated with the police investigation. 4. For the aforesaid reasons, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, his bail petition is allowed. 5. The interim bail granted by the Court to the petitioner Md. Omar Ali @ Amir Ali on 19.02.2026 is hereby made absolute. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application stands disposed of. The CD shall be returned. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
