JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved of the fact that the respondent-Tahsildar and the ‘Committee for - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9037 WP No. 2853 of 2026 Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ have not reconsidered the application in Form No.53 filed by the petitioner despite directions being issued by the Assistant Commissioner, Chitradurga Sub-Division at Annexure-J dated 24.06.2022. Earlier when a resolution was passed by the Committee on 18.03.1999, rejecting the application. The said rejection order was questioned before the Assistant Commissioner and the Assistant Commissioner passed an order at Annexure-J dated 24.06.2022 setting aside the resolution earlier passed by the Committee while remanding the matter back to the Committee for reconsideration. 3. Having regard to the facts obtained hereinabove, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to the 4th respondent-Tahsildar, Hiriyuru Taluk, to place the application in Form No.53 filed by the petitioner before the Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Thereafter, the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9037 WP No. 2853 of 2026 Committee shall reconsider the application and pass necessary orders in the light of the observations made by the Assistant Commissioner in his order at Annexure-J dated 24.06.2022 and the Committee shall passed necessary orders as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 2 months from the date when which the application would be placed by the Tahsildar, before the Committee. 4.
