The writ application has been preferred alleging unauthorized construction of an additional floor without any sanction floor. 3. On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, it appears that by a notice dated 6th December, 2025, the petitioner herein was called for a meeting by the Officer-in-Charge, Borough VI, Howrah Municipal Corporation. 4. It is submitted by the petitioner that as it was at a very short notice, the petitioner could not attend the said meeting. 5. Learned counsel for the Howrah Municipal Corporation submits that they are ready and willing 2 to initiate appropriate proceedings under the Act forthwith. 6. Accordingly, the respondents/Municipal Corporation is directed to provide a hearing to the petitioner on 29th April, 2026 at 11 a.m. All the stakeholders shall be heard by the Corporation authorities and the authority shall then proceed in accordance in law and pass a reasoned order. 7. Writ application stands disposed of. 8. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities. [Shampa Dutt (Paul). J]
