Mr. Akshay Pradhan, Advocate for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Ghanshyam Joshi, Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent no.4 and other competent revenue authorities to correct the name of the petitioner's father in the revenue records from "Rajpal S/o Tikka" to "Sheshraj S/o Tikka" and to carry out all consequential corrections in the revenue records. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent nos. 4 and 6 to delete/remove the loan entry from the petitioner's revenue records on the basis of the No Dues Certificate dated 12.05.2026 issued by the Indian Bank, Roorkee Branch. III. Issue a writ, order or direction directing respondent nos. 1 to 3 to inquire into the illegal refusal of respondent nos.5 and 6 to perform their statutory duties and to take appropriate disciplinary and other legal action against them in accordance with law. IV. Issue a writ, order or direction directing respondent no.1 to examine the conduct of respondent no.5 in the light of the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Government Servants Association Rules, 1979 (as adopted by the State of Uttarakhand), and to take appropriate action, including withdrawal of its recognition/affiliation.” 4. Learned State Counsel submits that if petitioner has any grievance regarding incorrect entry of name of his father in the revenue records, then he is free to approach the UKHC010113612026 2026:UHC:5445 competent authority by making a proper application. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to make fresh application to the competent authority. If he makes such application within ten days from today, along with all necessary documents to support his claim that petitioner has repaid loan to the bank, yet name of his father has been wrongly recorded as Rajpal instead of Sheshraj in revenue records. If petitioner makes application within stipulated time, then Tehsildar concerned shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within six weeks thereafter.
