Civil Writ Petitions No.19020/2013 & 2818/2017 were filed by the petitioner before this Court, however, the same were disposed of vide orders dated 22.10.2013 & 27.02.2017 respectively with liberty to the petitioner to file representation before the Competent Authority to consider candidature of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that although the petitioner submitted representation pursuant to aforesaid orders, yet the same was not decided by the respondents on the pretext that the judgment in the case of Namonarayan Sharma Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. (D.B. Special Appeal Writ No. 908/2017 was challenged by the State of Rajasthan by way of SLP (C) Nos.13102-13109/2020 (The [2026:RJ-JP:20169] (2 of 2) [CW-7471/2026] State of Rajasthan & Ors. Vs. Namonarayan Sharma & Ors.). 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the aforesaid SLPs were converted into civil appeals and have been disposed of by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated 28.01.2026. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner may be granted liberty to submit a fresh representation in the light of judgment dated 28.01.2026 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Namonarayan Sharma (supra). 5. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation before the Competent Authority, which shall be considered and decided by the Competent Authority by passing a speaking order within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of representation along with a certified copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of this case. 7. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 8.
