JUSTICE SHAMIMA JAHAN ORDER 05.06.2026 Heard Mr K Mohammad, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr D Bora, learned Government Advocate, Assam, appearing for the respondents. 2. By this interlocutory application, the petitioner has sought for correction of the typographical mistakes that had appeared in the Judgment and Order dated 12.05.2026, passed in Review Petition No. 156/2017. The petitioner has prayed that at three places, typographical mistakes have been noticed and they are:- i) In paragraph No. 3 of the said Judgment and Order, the writ petition number was wrongly reflected as – “WP(C) No. 9294 of 2004”, whereas it should have been- “WP(C) No. 9299 of 2004”, ii) Secondly, in paragraph-4 of the said Judgment and Order, the date of disposal of earlier Review Application was wrongly mentioned as “31.05.2005”, whereas, it should have been- “31.01.2005”, and; iii) Thirdly, In paragraph-8 of the said Judgment and Order, the date of the letter, by which a communication was given by Deputy Commissioner, Darrang to the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, was wrongly mentioned as “22nd of May, 2016”, whereas it should have been-“22nd of May, 2015”, and; 3. It is checked and it is found that these typographical mistakes have, in fact, Page No.# 3/3 occurred in the said Judgment and Order. Accordingly, the number of the writ petition mentioned in paragraph-3 will be read as “WP(C) No. 9299 of 2004”; in paragraph-4, i.e., the date of disposal of earlier review application should be read as-“31.01.2005”; and in paragraph-8, the date of the letter should be read as-“22nd of May, 2015”. 4. This order will become a part of the aforesaid Judgment and Order dated 12.05.2026. 5. Interlocutory Application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
