The petitioner was promoted from the post of Engineer to Upper Mukhya Adhikari in the Panchayati Raj Department of the State vide order dated 06.04.2026. On 26.05.2026, he was transferred to Bageshwar to join on the promoted post of Upper Mukhya Adhikari. 2. The case of the petitioner is that he is suffering from 50% disability. His wife is also suffering from slip disk and is confined to bed. He has made a representation before the Special Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department on 17.06.2026 against his posting at Bageswhar. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that 1 UKHC010113682026 2026:UHC:5361-DB the respondent be directed to decide the representation taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is suffering from permanent disability and his wife is confined to bed. 4. Learned State Counsel does not oppose the said limited prayer. 5. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.1 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2026 by a speaking order within three weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with the photocopy of the representation 6.
