Since petitioners’ name have not been recommended for appointment even though their name figured in the second provisional merit list, therefore, they approached this Court seeking a direction to the authorities to consider their claim for appointment under the Diploma/Degree category. 6. Record reveals that petitioners possess National Trade Certificate from Government Industrial Training Institute, Saharanpur. 7. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of by permitting petitioners to make representation to respondent no.2.
