Choudhury, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. D.J. Das, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Advocate General appears for the Health. The applicant is aggrieved that her claim for seniority in the post of Reader has not been given effect to in terms of the claims made and as a consequence thereof, the applicant is aggrieved that she has not been considered for selection to the next higher post of Professor in the Regional Dental College, Guwahati in the Department of Pedodontics in Preventive Dentistry. According to the applicant, she meets the eligibility criteria and therefore her case should have been considered for promotion to the next higher post but to the best of her knowledge, the authorities have not even forwarded the relevant papers including her ACRs and there is an apprehension that her case will not be considered and therefore, this interlocutory applicant has been filed. Page No.# 4/4 Mr. B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Advocate General submits that he will file the affidavit in the accompanying writ petition being W.P(C) No. 1675/2026 within one week and therefore, the claims of the petitioner be decided accordingly in the writ petition. The learned Senior counsel for the applicant has submitted that at this stage, the applicant/petitioner’s case be permitted to be considered and the consideration in respect of the writ petitioner by the DPC be kept in a sealed cover to be opened only upon the orders of the Court in W.P(C) No. 1675/2026. The learned Addl. Advocate General does not object to the suggestions made by the applicant. Accordingly, the interlocutory applicant stands allowed. The Government will accordingly process the case of the applicant and place it before the ensuing DPC which is to be held for selection and promotion to the post of Professor, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry in the Regional Dental College, Guwahati and the petitioner’s case will also be considered and accordingly all relevant papers including the ACRs should be placed before the DPC. However, the recommendation of the DPC in respect of the applicant shall be kept in a sealed cover which is to be opened depending on such orders as may be passed in the accompanying writ petitioner being W.P(C) No. 1675/2026.
