Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 2. By instituting the instant Public Interest Litigation petition, a direction has been sought to stop the discharge of the sewage into the rain water drain in Saket area, New Delhi and further to direct removal of all encroachments obstructing the drain to enable mechanised cleaning. Further direction has been sought that the drainage may be cleaned, desilted and maintained scientifically. 3. The grievances raised in this petition appears to have already taken note of by the highest Executive in the State and accordingly, a letter dated 21.10.2025 was written by the office of Hon’ble the Chief Minister of Delhi This is a digitally signed order. Learned counsel representing the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has informed that certain action has been taken for desilting and, in fact, desilting work is carried out on regular basis. 5. In view of the fact that the issue has already been taken up by the office of Hon’ble the Chief Minister of the State, as is reflected from the letter dated 21.10.2025 annexed with the writ petition as Annexure P-8, we dispose of this writ petition with the direction to the authorities of Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Public Works Department and Delhi Jal Board to attend to the grievances as raised in the writ petition and redress the same as early as possible. 6. We further direct that if any joint action is required, authorities of all concerned shall convene a meeting for the purpose of evolving the steps to be taken for redressing the grievances raised in this writ petition. 7.
