1. Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. As per the recent affidavit filed by the opposite party no. 2 dated 26.03.2026, the admissible amount of interest as reported by the Bank has been mentioned in paragraph no. 8 of the affidavit. At this stage, it is pertinent to indicate that period has been taken as the date of deposit of the amount in the bank till the release of payment of principal amount to the respective claimants. It is also relevant to mention here that the claimed amount of interest as mentioned by the petitioners in the refund application and the rejoinder dated 9.10.2025 differs in respect of three claimants mentioned at serial no.
8,13 and 14 of the above tabular chart.”

In view of the fact that admissible amount of interest as per the Bank has been reported and is apparently payable to the concerned petitioners/claimants, there is no impediment in making payment of the admissible amount of interest. It is not in dispute that the principal amount has already been paid. 4. The learned Registrar General, Jharkhand High Court is
directed to pay the admissible amount of interest to the concerned persons after due identification.
5. This CMP is accordingly disposed of.
6. Pending I.A., if any, stands closed.
