2026:JHHC:12781 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B. A. No. 928 of 2026 Mangra Munda ….. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand ….. Opposite Party ----- CORAM HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioner: Mr. Amit Kumar, Advocate For the State: Mr. Shiv Shankar Kumar, A.P.P ----- 04/30.04.2026 Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1)/238/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. It is alleged that the petitioner along with co-accused Abraham Samad and Roshan Sanga @ Dablu was involved in commission of murder of Kisto Das Mundu. The petitioner has been implicated in this case merely on the basis of his alleged confession as well as suspicion that he along with the said accused persons were carrying the deceased on a motorcycle while he was injured. The said accused persons have already been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court, orders of which have been annexed as Annexure-2 series to the present bail application. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with the present case since 10.06.2025. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 4. Learned A.P.P opposes the petitioner’s prayer for bail. 5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (twenty thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to 2026:JHHC:12781 the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khunti in connection with S.T No. 142/2025.
