The petitioner in the instant petition prays for the following reliefs:- “I) Writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby ordering for action on the encroachment by Masjid Fatima in Public Park P-5/106, Opposite P Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi , specifically mentioned in the complaint on the STF portal with reference ID SNS2024051815. II) Writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, thereby directing respondent no. 1 for the removal of the entire encroachment from public land of park in P Block area of Mangolpuri, Delhi. Ill) Any other order which the Hon’ble court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case be also passed in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. 3. The facts of the case would indicate that the petitioner has filed multiple complaints before various authorities. The complaints appear to have been made to Special Task Force (STF), Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Deputy Director Horticulture Department of MCD and Executive Engineer Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board. One of the replies to the petitioner’s complaint by Executive Engineer, Horticulture Department of the MCD acknowledges the factum of encroachment (Annexure P-5). 4. Learned counsel, who appears for STF on advance instructions, submits that on 18.05.2024, the cognizance of the petitioner’s complaint was taken and the MCD was called upon to furnish relevant information. Learned counsel assures that on the next meeting, the STF will consider the petitioner’s grievance. 5. Having considered the overall conspectus of the facts and situation, This is a digitally signed order. The petitioner seems to have been approaching the Government authorities for more than two years. There does not seem to be any concrete action by them. Accordingly, respondent nos.1 to 4 are directed to co- operate with the SDM for taking the issue to its logical conclusion. If any of the authority fails to adhere to the directions of the STF, the Court shall be constrained to take appropriate steps and pass necessary orders. 7. The STF is also directed to take the issue to its logical conclusion within a period of six month from today. 8.
