Challenge to the recruitment process is premised on the ground that the recruitment process is in violation of the provisions applicable/governing the recruitment. 3. It is well settled that no public interest litigation is maintainable in the matter of recruitment/service matters. Therefore, by way of public interest litigation, we are not inclined to interfere with the process of selection. 4. Leaving the issue open for consideration in appropriate case, this public interest litigation is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, interim applications stand closed.
