O R D E R [1] None appeared on behalf of petitioner. Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA appeared on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. None appeared on behalf of respondent No. 4. [2] Proceedings dated 24-06-2026 and 29-07-2026 also clearly indicated that despite service of notice, respondent No .4 did not appeared and contest the present writ petition. In view of the above, the present writ petition is proceeded ex-parte against the respondent No. 4. [3] The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer for directing the respondents No. 1, 2 and 3 to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment against any suitable post commensurate with her educational qualification under the Die-in-Harness Scheme. [4] Today, when the matter is taken up, Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA appearing for the respondents No. 1 to 3 placed before this court a letter dated 06-08-2026 from the Managing Director, Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) addressed to the learned Government Advocate furnishing along with the said letter a Tentative Seniority List of the applicants, who have applied for appointment under Die-in-Harness Scheme maintained by the MSPCL as on 01-08-2026. In the said Tentative Seniority List, the name of the petitioner appears at Sl. No. 3.

[5] The learned GA submitted that the present writ petition can be disposed of by directing the respondents No. 1 to 3 to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment under the Die-in-Harness Scheme according to the Seniority List maintained by the MSPCL. [6] In view of the submission made above, this court is of the considered view that the present writ petition can be disposed of by issuing the following directions:- (i) The respondents No. 1, 2 and 3 are hereby directed to consider the case of the petitioner for her appointment against any suitable post commensurate with her educational qualification under the Die-in-Harness Scheme; and (ii) The said consideration shall be on the basis of the aforesaid Tentative Seniority List maintained by the MSPCL wherein the name of the petitioner appears at Sl. No. 3. With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of. JUDGE Devananda
