Petitioner relies upon a notice dated 23.03.2026 issued by Assistant Engineer, Construction Division, PWD, Roorkee, for contending that respondent Nos. 4 has encroached upon public road by raising projection in his building, which is hampering free flow of traffic. 3. Petitioner has sought direction to the competent authority to remove the encroachment. 4. According to petitioner, he has made representation to the District Magistrate, Haridwar, who may be directed to take UKHC010113232026 2026:UHC:5392 decision thereupon. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law within four weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order. However, District Magistrate shall also examine whether petitioner has made any encroachment upon any public land or water body land. 6.
