JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 13/05/2026 1. This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging contempt of order dated 07.10.2023 passed by the Co- ordinate Bench of this Court in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.2857/2016. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, at the outset submitted that in compliance of order dated 07.10.2023, order dated 23.04.2026 has been issued by the Director and Joint [2026:RJ-JP:20233] (2 of 2) [CCP-560/2024] Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, whereby benefit of minimum of the pay scale of Class-IV employee has been granted to the petitioner w.e.f. 07.10.2023. Learned counsel submits that in furtherance of order dated 23.04.2026, the respondents are in the process of making payment of arrears to the petitioner and the arrears shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of fifteen days from today. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents also assures this Court that pursuant to order dated 23.04.2026 issued by the respondents, the respondents shall continue to pay minimum of the pay scale as directed by this Court. 4. In view of the order dated 23.04.2026 issued by the respondents as well as the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, this Court finds that there is no case of deliberate and wilful disobedience. Hence, the contempt petition filed by the petitioner is hereby dismissed. 5. Notices stand discharged. 6. Pending application(s), if any, also stand(s) disposed of. (ANAND SHARMA),J DIVYA /75
