Commissioner, Bangalore South Sub-Division in case No.LND.RA(S)16/15-16 dated 28.07.2016, canceling the grants made in favour of the petitioner's father in the year 1991-1992, the petitioner approached this Court in W.P.No.3519/2021. This Court by an order dated 12.07.2021, set aside the order passed by the Assistant Commissioner insofar as the petitioner's father is concerned and remanded the matter back to the Assistant Commissioner for reconsideration after giving due opportunity to the petitioner and the petitioner was also given liberty to urge all grounds in the said proceedings.
Learned counsel submits that though the order was passed on 12.07.2021, the Assistant Commissioner has not taken up the matter till date.
3. Further, the petitioner had also filed W.P.No.2956/2026, being aggrieved by the fact that the Assistant Commissioner had not taken up the matter, pursuant to the directions issued by this Court. This Court disposed of the said writ petition on 02.02.2026, directing the Assistant Commissioner to dispose of the proceedings in LND RA

4. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent-Tahsildar to restore the revenue entries in favour of the petitioner's father.
5. Learned High Court Government Pleader raises an objection that this Court has already issued directions to the Assistant Commissioner to conclude the proceedings within a period of three months. Therefore, at this stage, the name of the petitioner's father cannot be restored in the revenue records.
6. Having regard to the facts narrated hereinabove, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent- Tahsildar to await the orders that would be passed by the Assistant Commissioner. However, if the Assistant Commissioner does not pass an order within the time stipulated by this Court in W.P.No.2956/2026, the respondent-Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner’s father in the revenue record. On the other hand, if an order is passed by the
