2 Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order direction one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not registering FIR basing on the complaint of the petitioner dated 23.04.2026 after acknowledging the said complaint vide Complaint No. N202627009003725 till date not registered any crime and not taken any action against the 6th respondent is illegal, arbitrary and against the principles natural justice and also violation of Article 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India including the Apex Court Judgment Lalita Kumari Vs.

Instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“to issue a Writ, order direction one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not registering FIR basing on the complaint of the petitioner dated 23.04.2026 after acknowledging the said complaint vide Complaint No. N202627009003725 till date not registered any crime and not taken any action against the 6th respondent is illegal, arbitrary and against the principles natural justice and also violation of Article 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India including the Apex Court
Judgment Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and consequently direct the respondents police to register the FIR basing on the complaint dated 23.04.2026 of the petitioner and punish the 6th respondent in the interest of justice and to pass such”.
2. Conspectus of facts in the present Writ Petition is that, despite the petitioner’s complaint to the police personnel, the respondent police are not acting upon the same by registering an FIR, thereby lodging criminal proceedings

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on the Written Instructions dated 28.06.2026 of the Inspector of Police, Social Media & Cyber Cell, Ananthapuram District, submits that basing on the petitioner's complaint, police registered FIR in Crime No.56 of 2026 of Guntakal II Town Police Station, Ananthapuram District and the investigation is going on.
4. At that juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the factum of registration of FIR.
5. Recording the submission made by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed. No
order as to costs.
Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
