This application is filed by original respondent nos.1 and 2 i.e. the State of Maharashtra and the Scheduled Tribes Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Kinwat, Head Quarter at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar seeking an extension of time to decide the tribe claim of the present respondent-original petitioner in Writ Petition No.1153 of 2026. 3. This Court by way of order dated 02.02.2026 had directed the Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner by the end of June 2026. It is now stated in the application that because of the pendency Sayyed 1/2 2026:BHC-AUG:41076-DB 922-CA.10135.2026.doc of the claims and the formalities required i.e. calling for the Vigilance Cell report etc., the Committee could not decide the claim within stipulated period. 4. For the reasons stated in the application, application stands allowed. The time granted to the Committee is extended by a period of eight weeks from today. 5. Civil Application stands disposed off.
