By means of the present Criminal Writ Petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the impugned F.I.R. dated 11.06.2026, registered as Case Crime No. 0215 of 2026, under Sections 109, 190, 191(2), 191(3) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Gangnahar, District Haridwar. The petitioners have also prayed for a direction that they shall not be arrested pursuant to the aforesaid F.I.R. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners have already been arrested in connection with the aforesaid F.I.R. and, therefore, the present Criminal Writ Petition has been rendered infructuous. 4. In view of the aforesaid submission, and since the principal relief sought by the petitioners was protection against arrest, which no longer survives on account of their arrest, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. 5. Accordingly, the present Criminal Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
