Advocate General with Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, D.A.G. for the State. 3. According to the petitioner certain liquor shops are running next to National Highway contrary to law of the land. 4. Learned counsel for the State however submits that petitioner has sought a general direction to the State to undertake a survey of all liquor shops to ascertain which liquor shops are running contrary to the law of the land. 5. Thus it is contended that such omnibus direction cannot be issued in a writ petition. 6. Accordingly writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the concerned District Magistrate regarding running of liquor shops contrary to the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court. If petitioner makes such a representation, the District Magistrate concerned shall look into the matter and take decision, after hearing all the stakeholders, as per law, within six weeks’ thereafter.
