JUSTICE SUNITHA GANDHAM CRIMINAL REVISION CASE NO.488 OF 2015 ORDER: This Criminal Revision Case has been filed aggrieved by the judgment dated 23.03.2015 in Crl.A.No.43 of 2012 passed by the learned VI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Nellore, whereby the judgment dated 09.02.2012 in C.C.No.175 of 2006 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Atmakur, was confirmed. 2. Learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that during pendency of this revision, revision petitioner died and to that effect he filed memo along with photocopies of the death certificate, Aadhaar Card and Bank passbook. He further submitted that, since the sole accused has died, the Criminal Revision Case may be dismissed as abated. 3. This Court has compared the photocopies of the documents and other particulars of the accused. 4. The revision petitioner/accused died on 18.04.2023. The offence involved in this case is under Sections 304-A IPC. 4 The Trial Court convicted the accused and sentenced him to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of six months for the offence under Section 304-A IPC and to pay a fine of Rs.500/-, simple imprisonment for a period of six months and to pay a fine of Rs.500/- for the offence under Section 338 IPC, and imposed a fine of Rs.500/- for the offence under Section 337 IPC. The said judgment was confirmed by the learned VI Additional District and Sessions Judge, SPSR Nellore District, vide judgment dated 23.03.2015. The fine amount was paid. 5. In view of the death of the sole accused/revision petitioner, and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as abated.
