Mr. Bilal Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Vijay Khanduri, learned Brief Holder for the State. 3. The instant writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR dated 30.04.2025 registered as Case Crime No. 00131 of 2025 under Section 3,5 read with Section 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act 2007 and under Section 3 read with Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act P.S. Piran Kaliyar District Haridwar (Annexure No. 1). (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in Case Crime No. 00131 of 2025 under Section 3,5 read with Section 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act 2007 and under Section 3 read with Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act P.S. Piran Kaliyar District Haridwar till the pendency of present petition. 4. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned, however, some protection may be given to him till he surrenders. 5. The State counsel has no objection. 6. In such view of the matter, instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before 14.05.2026.
