Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, learned D.A.G. for the State. 3. Petitioner is serving as Chief Administrative Officer in Education Department. He was attached in the Office of Deputy Education Officer, Gangolihat, Pithoragarh, in the year 2024. His attachment has been cancelled by Director General, School Education vide order dated 19.06.2026 and a consequential order has been passed by Deputy Education Officer dated 30.06.2026. 4. He further contends that petitioner is due to retire in less than two years. 5. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner does not have any vested right to continue on his attachment in Gangolihat. He however submits that if petitioner has any personal difficulty due to cancellation of his attachment, then he can approach the Competent Authority. 6. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make a representation to the Director General. If he makes a representation within one week from today decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within three weeks’ thereafter. For a period of four weeks or till decision is taken whichever is earlier, status quo as regards to petitioner’s posting shall be maintained.
