Court No. 19 (265719) 01.04.2026 (AD 5) (S. Banerjee) WPA 6752 of 2026 Kalabati Mandal Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Pankaj Halder Sk. Afrojul Haque …for the petitioner Mr. Lalit Mohan Mahata, Ld. AGP Mr. Rudranil De …for the State Affidavit of service filed in Court today, is taken on record. In spite of service none appears for the private- respondents. After an elaborate argument, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner restricts his prayer only to permit the petitioner to approach the learned jurisdictional magistrate challenging the report prepared by the Revenue Officer dated November 26, 2024 and the sketch map appended thereto alleged to have been prepared by the Revenue Inspector. Mr. Mahata, learned AGP, does not oppose such prayer. 2 In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of without entering into the challenge thrown by the petitioner to the said report in this writ petition and by leaving the petitioner free to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
