Present applicant Nawab Ali, S/o Israr Ahmad is praying for bail in reference to Range Case No. 40 of 2025-26 dated 06.08.2025, P.S. Forest Department, Haridwar Forest Division, District Haridwar wherein he has been implicated for the offences punishable under Sections 9, 12, 39, 50 and 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. 4. It is argued by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated which is evident from the fact that present applicant is not named in the complaint and those who were named in the complaint have been exonerated. He further submits that all the offences are triable by the Magistrate and the present applicant is languishing in jail since 13.05.2026 and has no criminal antecedent. 5. On the other side, Ms. Sweta Dobhal, learned Brief Holder for the State have not disputed that all the offences are triable by the Magistrate and the present applicant has no criminal antecedent. 6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that all the offences are triable by the Magistrate and the UKHC010111782026 2026:UHC:5289 applicant has no criminal antecedent, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves for bail. 7. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case the bail application is allowed. 8. Let the applicant Nawab Ali be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
