The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.172/2025, registered for the offence under Sections 69, 127(2), 115(2), 75, 79 of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned C.J.M., Khunti. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that false allegation is made against the petitioner of establishing relationship on the pretext of marriage. He next submits that what has happened that was consensual in nature and both were in relationship since December, 2024 itself. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that serious allegations are there against the petitioner and in view of that, anticipatory bail may not be granted to the petitioner. 5. Looking into the contents of the FIR, it transpires that the petitioner is a married man and concealing that fact, he has established relationship with the victim and even he has recorded intimate video and threatened her to make the video viral and on the basis of the said video, he has further ( 2026:JHHC:12519 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 7038 of 2025 established relationship by way of threatening the victim. 6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and, as such, his prayer for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected. 7.
