Also heard Mr. C K S Baruah, learned Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent/opposite party Nos. 1 to 4 as well as Mr. A Chaliha, learned Standing counsel, Finance Department, Assam for the respondent Nos. 5 & 6. 2. By way of this interlocutory application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Pension Branch, Maidamgaon, Beltola, Page No.# 4/5 Guwahati-29 as a party respondent in the connected WP(C) No. 3432/2025. 3. It appears that the applicant had filed the connected writ petition being WP(C) No. 3432/2025 before this Court seeking release of family pension due to the death of her mother who received family pension vide Pension Payment Order No. 23373 of her deceased husband, Namely, Jamini Kanta Sarkar, leaving the petitioner as the only unmarried dependent daughter in the family. It appears that due to an inadvertent error, the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Pension Branch was not arrayed as a party respondent in the said writ petition. 4. It appears that presence of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Pension Branch is necessary and essential for effective adjudication of the connected writ petition. 5. Mr. C K S Baruah, learned Government Advocate, Assam as well as Mr. A Chaliha, learned Standing counsel, Finance Department, Assam do not object to the impleadment of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Pension Branch as party respondent in the connected writ petition. 6. Having heard the learned counsels for the parties and also having perused the grounds for impleadment, the instant impleadment application stands allowed. 7. Accordingly, the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Pension Branch, Maidamgaon, Beltola, Guwahati-29 be impleaded as a party respondent in the connected WP(C) No. 3432/2025. 8. Let an amended cause title be furnished before the Registry for doing the needful. 9. With the above observation and direction, the instant interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of.
