The petitioner’s grievance is that his prior service in Assam Public School (Sports), Shillong, has not been taken into consideration by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for computing his years of service. 2. Mr. Nag, learned Advocate, appearing for the Commission, submits that the afore-stated school is not a government school, and the question of taking into account service rendered in such a non- government, non-aided school does not arise. 3. The petitioner relies on page 37 of the writ petition, stating that the said school is indeed a government school. However, the petitioner has not produced any further document, except for page 37 of the writ petition, to consolidate his argument. He, however, submits that there are other documents which do not form part of the writ petition. 4. In view of the aforesaid, I direct Respondent No. 4 and/or his authorized person to deal with the application of the petitioner and dispose of the same upon giving adequate prior notice of hearing, by 15.04.2026. 5. The petitioner will be at liberty to disclose any P a g e | 2 substantive document to prove that the school in which he had rendered prior service is a government school or an aided school. 6. The Respondent No. 4, or his duly authorized person, will pass a reasoned order and communicate the resultant order of such consideration to the petitioner by 31.04.2026. 7. With these afore-stated directions, WPA/28001/2025 is disposed of. No order as to costs. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
