The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: “10.1 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the order dated 09/12/2021 and 21/12/2021 with regard to the promotion of the respondent No. 6 to 13. 10.2 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No. 5 to consider the petitioners for promotion to the post of Assistant Grade-III. 10.3 Any other relief(s)/order(s)/direction(s) in favour of petitioner, which this Honble Cort may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice. 10.4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that vide order impugned, similarly situated persons (respondents No. 6 to 13) were promoted therefore, he submits that the petitioners may be granted permission to make a detailed representation before the respondents/competent authority raising all grounds as raised in this writ petition and in turn, respondents/competent authority may also be directed to consider and decide the same at the earliest within any specific period as fixed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent/State submits that during pendency of this petition, the petitioner No. 3 and petitioner No. 4 are also promoted. She would also submit that she is having no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. 4. On the basis of submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, at this stage, without entering into the merits of the case, this writ 4 petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners except petitioner Nos. 3 & 4 to make a detailed representation before the respondent/competent authority raising all grounds as raised in this writ petition along with the copy of this order within ‘30 days’ from today and on submission of such representation the respondent/competent authority is expected to consider and decide the same within an outer limit of ‘120 days’ from the submission of such representation in accordance with law. If the decision goes against the petitioners, they are at liberty to seek remedy available under the law. 5. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
