This petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking quashing of order dated 12.12.2025 (hereinafter ‘impugned order’), passed by learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (hereinafter ‘CAT’). 4. The Petitioner No.1 is an association of employees of Doordarshan Program. By the impugned order, the Chairman (CAT) in exercise of its powers under Section 25 of the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985, has ordered transfer of O.A. pending before the Circuit Bench, Port Blair to Principal Bench, New Delhi. The learned counsel representing the Petitioners contends that the O.A. has been transferred only because the President of the said association was transferred to Delhi. However, the said transfer order has been stayed by the Kolkata Bench. 6. On a Court question, the learned counsel representing the Petitioners admits that the members of the association are residing or are posted throughout the country including in Delhi. 7. The learned counsel representing the Respondents submits that another O.A. filed by the association, through its Vice President, is presently pending before Principal Bench, New Delhi. He further submits that another O.A. for the similar relief is pending before the Bengaluru Bench, which was filed by the Executive Members of the association. 8. The impugned order has been passed by the Chairman in the interest of justice. Though, the impugned order does not record detailed reasons, however, in exercise of Writ jurisdiction, this Court is not expected to interfere unless prejudice caused to the Petitioners is shown. The members of the association are also posted and residing in Delhi, further, even the Vice President of the association has filed a petition which is pending consideration before the Bench of CAT in Delhi. Hence, there is no ground to interfere with the impugned order. 9. The writ petition stands dismissed. 10. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
