01. Petitioner, through the medium of this petition alleges that her plea for grant of passport in favour of her child namely, Fajr Noor, aged 2 years has been rejected by the respondents, though she being entitled to the same, and has sought the following reliefs:
1. Mandamus directing upon the respondent No. 2 to issue passport in favour of the minor namely Fajr Noor aged 2 years
through attorney holder or the petitioner-the mother of the minor.
2. Mandamus directing upon the respondent No. 2 to consider the representation already filed through the attorney holder of the petitioner for issuance of the passport in favour of the minor Fajr Noor.
3. Any other order, writ or direction which this Hon’ble court may deem fit and proper to be also passed in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied in case this petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation filed to the respondent No. 2-Regional Passport Officer, Passport Office Boulevard, Srinagar, J&K, for issuance of passport in favour of minor-Fajr Noor.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents did not resist to the plea raised by learned counsel for the petitioners for consideration of the representation in connection with the application for grant of passport in favour of petitioner’s child namely Fajr Noor.

In view of the pleadings and submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, the petition is disposed of, at this motion stage, with a direction to the petitioner to make available a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order to the respondent No. 2 within two weeks and with further direction to the respondents to consider the representation which is annexed with this petition for consideration of grant of passport, in favour of the petitioner’s child, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks.
