The present Application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.627 of 2025 (Case Crime No.246 of 2024), “State Vs. Gurjeet Singh and Another”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramnagar, District Nainital under Sections 109, 190, 1 2026:UHC:358 191(2), 191(3), 117 and Section 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. According to the First Information Report, on 05.08.2024 at around 7:40 p.m., the applicants and their associates beat the respondent no.3, the husband of the informant-respondent no.2, in which he sustained injuries. 3. Mr. Abhishek Verma, learned counsel for the applicants-accused, Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, learned Brief Holder for the respondent no.1 and Mr. Arjun Arora, learned counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3- informant. 4. The applicants are present in-person. They are identified by Mr. Abhishek Verma, Advocate. The respondent no.2 and the respondent no.3 are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. Arjun Arora, Advocate. 5. Admittedly, four charge-sheets were filed in the Case Crime No.246 of 2024. 6. Applicants, respondent no.2 and respondent no.3 submitted that there were private disputes between them. They have resolved all their disputes and after resolving their disputes they are living happily and in harmony. The charge-sheets, filed against the 2 2026:UHC:358 associates of the present applicants, and entire proceedings of their cases have already been quashed. They have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.01 of 2026) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. 7. The private respondents have requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.627 of 2025. 8. Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, learned Brief Holder, has opposed the said request of the private respondents. 9. Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.627 of 2025 (Case Crime No.246 of 2024), “State Vs. Gurjeet Singh and Another”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramnagar, District Nainital, are quashed. 10. Resultantly, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.627 of 2025 (Case Crime No.246 of 2024), “State Vs.
