This application has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 seeking extension of time to file a criminal appeal. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court, vide order dated 04.07.2025, disposed of ACQA No.420/2018 with a direction to the petitioner/complainant to prefer an appeal against the impugned judgment dated 13.07.2018 before the concerned Sessions Judge within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. He further submits that the petitioner/complainant is a 75- PRIYANKA VERMA Digitally signed by PRIYANKA VERMA Date: 2026.04.16 15:36:15 +0530 2 year-old widow suffering from several serious health issues and therefore, she could not file the appeal within the stipulated time. 3. On due consideration and the reasons assigned in the present application, the same is allowed. The petitioner is granted further time to file the appeal till 11.02.2026. 4.
