This writ petition is filed to issue Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent nos. 2 to 5 in disconnecting the electricity power supply vide connection No.HSC 23511 issued to the petitioner society on 10.12.2015 without issuing any notice or passing any order of disconnection as arbitrary illegal unconstitutional violative of principals of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents nos. 2 to 5 herein to restore the power supply to the petitioner society forthwith. 2. None appears for the petitioner. 3. During the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for APSPDCL submitted that, pursuant to the interim orders passed by this Court on 23.12.2015, the electricity service connection of the petitioner was restored and is presently in live status. 4. The main grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the respondents disconnected the electricity supply without issuing any prior notice or passing any order. 4 5. In view of the fact that the petitioner’s service connection has already been restored, the grievance raised in the writ petition stands redressed and nothing further survives for consideration. However, if the respondents propose to take any action against the petitioner in future, they are at liberty to do so in accordance with law, after issuing due notice to the petitioner. 6. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the respondent Corporation to initiate appropriate proceedings, if so advised, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. 7.
