Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, Gyan Doley in respect of PRC No.13/2026, under Section 99 of the BNS, 2023, arising out of Gerukamukh P.S. Case Page No.# 2/2 No.08/2025, pending in the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhemaji. 3. The petitioner, Gyan Doley has been shown as an absconder in the Charge-Sheet. The petitioner apprehends that upon his appearance before the learned Court below, he may be remanded to custody. 4. The petitioner submits that he is interested in facing the trial and therefore he should be given adequate opportunity to contest the before the learned Trial Court. 5. I have heard the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial he deserves to be given an adequate opportunity to that effect. Therefore, his prayer is allowed. 7. The petitioner, Gyan Doley is directed to appear before the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhemaji in connection with the Special PRC No.13/2026 within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from today and on his appearance, he shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhemaji, Assam. 8. With the aforesaid direction, this anticipatory bail application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
