Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Chakulia P.S. Case No. 10 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 126(2)/ 333/ 115(2)/ 118/ 118(3)/109/351(2) of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghatsila. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since 17.02.2026. Charge sheet has already been submitted. He has further submitted that the injury was simple in nature. 4. Learned counsel for the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that there is direct allegation against the petitioner that he entered into the house of the victim and assaulted her in order to kill her and cut her tongue by katrari and when she tried to save herself, the petitioner assaulted her with lathi and the victim suffered injury in her hand also. It has also been mentioned that the victim is in hospital for treatment in Jhargrama, West Bengal and her situation is serious. ( 2026:JHHC:12660 ) 2 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering direct nature of allegation and the manner in which the offence is alleged to have been committed, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
