Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Learned Deputy Advocate General has placed on record the instructions, which read as under:- “Sir, CWP No.2746/2026 titled as Balbir Singh Vs. State of HP & Ors. That the above titled case was listed before the Hon'ble High Court on 19.03.2026 and the Hon'ble Court was pleased to pass following order: "On the request of learned Additional Advocate General, list on 25.03.2026. Reply/instructions in the meanwhile." 3. In this regard, it is submitted that the representation dated 02.02.2026 submitted by petitioner has been received in the office of replying respondent through the office of the IGP/SR Shimla, requesting for promotion to the rank of Head Constable against the 30% posts. As the recommendations called for vide replying respondent letter dated 21.02.2026 has been received from the IGP/Southern Ranges Shimla in respect of the present petitioner wherein the name of the petitioner has been recommended for promotion to the rank of Head Constable against the 30% posts. 4. That as per recommendation the case of the petitioners will be examined and considered for promotion in the combined seniority list and will be promoted as per combined seniority list accordingly.
